So, wow, it's been a long time.
So, my year in review...
- End of Feb.: Lost job at Lid's Team Sports (aka Impact Sports). Job moved to Indianapolis. I was not interested in moving there, so started looking for new jobs.
- End of Feb.: Found a new job at in Oshkosh. Started March 14th. (364 days since I had started my job at LTS).
- The day before moving to Oshkosh, we found out that my mom was diagnosed with Stage 4 Stomach Cancer.
- Moved to Oshkosh from Madison. I've wanted to live in Madison for a long time. Got exactly one year there, then had to up and leave. Was fairly upset about that.
- My new job at 4imprint - the job is okay. I take whatever the cust wants and put it on mugs, pens, shirts, basically anything you can think of. The company is absolutely AMAZING though.
- In June, I was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes. I'm on medicine to control my blood sugars.
- Also in June, it was discovered that there was a portion of my heart that was pumping about 30% less volume than it should be.
- Early this week, I underwent a Cardiac Catheterization procedure. Basically, the procedure allowed my cardiologist to visualize the coronary arteries and the heart to figure out why the heart wasn't pumping properly. We figured there might be an artery blockage, but the arteries came back clear and healthy. But I do have cardiomyopathy.
- So now... I'm meeting fairly constantly with my primary doc, my cardiologist, my endocrine (diabetes) doc, and a dietician.
So yea. That's where I stand right now. I thought I would type this up and maybe start posting more often. There's basically nothing on this site anymore... so I figure I should get it going
